I’m tickled you’re here.

Here’s a tad about me… take a quick scan through, then write and tell me about YOU! I’d love to hear from you.

I’m Mari Smith, and am passionate about relationships! Everything I do revolves around people and relationships – fostering new ones, building and maintaining existing ones, helping others with their relationships.

Mostly, I’d call myself a Lifestyle Entrepreneur. I’ve been self-employed since 1999 (ever since I moved to California from my homeland in Scotland… though I was born and raised in Canada! Yep, I like to think of myself as having ‘triple nationality’!)

My husband, Ty, and I currently live fulltime in our fab 34′ motorhome, traveling the US and Canada for as long as we enjoy the mobile lifestyle. We were greatly influenced by Tim Ferris… and sold our beach home in San Diego, along with all our furniture!

Ty and I both enjoy fully mobile careers – he is primarly a real estate investor and I am a coach and consultant. We do most all of our work by phone (Skype), email and internet.

In my work as a certified professional relationship coach, I help singles attract their life partner, and I help couples create an extraordinary marriage. 

As a success coach and marketing consultant, I help small business owners and entrepreneurs increase their revenue and grow their network. We do this with a variety of internet marketing strategies, information products, promotional campaigns, email marketing, buzz marketing, word-of-mouth marketing, and social networking strategies.

I use assessments and developmental coaching in my business. My motivational profile is hugely centered around people. I’m a “High I” (influence) on DISC; Extrovert (expressive) on Myers Briggs; my #1 strength on StrengthsFinder is communication; on the Enneagram, I’m the “Helper”; and my highest desire on Reiss is “social contact.”

This might all sound gobbledegook to you if you’re not familiar with the world of assessments.

I’d love to help YOU understand yourself at a deeper level so you can design a lifestyle, a career, and an internet marketing strategy that is aligned with who you are. This is the secret to incredible stamina, to staying motivated at all times.

This leads me to WHY FACEBOOK? For me, it’s an absolute no-brainer. It’s like being a resident of a VIP gated community. Only you get to say who gets the gate code.

Facebook is a simple, yet comprehensive, easy-to-use platform where you can fully express who you are already.

You can reach out and connect with an incredible worldwide community at the click of a button: family, extended family, current friends, new friends, quality like-minded professionals, potential joint venture partners, people you admire, paying customers!… the list is endless.

Having an active profile on Facebook helps build and maintain resilience. Another topic close to my heart.

My intent with this blog is to share any and all tidbits, tips, strategies, techniques, tools and news about Facebook that may be of interest to you.
